Visit from Irish foresters and Scottish Forestry

On the 27th of August we had a visit from a party of Irish foresters led by Scottish Forestry (was Forestry Commission) who came to look at our recent woodland creation scheme of 55Ha at The Linns, on Kippendavie & Cauldhame. We explained the benefits of the scheme and the historical importance of the site in relation to the Battle of Sheriffmuir in 1715.
